For a limited period only we offer furniture and décor from Les Dawson’s Fairhaven home at special prices to our clientele.
Les’s wife Tracy, has sold the big house in Islay road Lytham, and has entrusted Febland Group to market all the beloved furniture which they had accumulated. We collected it on Sunday and are now putting it on display so that nice pieces can be within the reach of anybody that loved Les Dawson’s humour.
It has filled a large space in our showroom on Ashworth Road and comprises lounge and hall furniture, bedroom pieces and many pictures including rare prints by Larry Rushton, a local artist and L.S Lowry.
The main items are Italian baroque style which Les loved and are well worth a visit to Feblands in Marton Blackpool where the exhibition and sale of the collection will continue until end of May.
Early indications are very favourable as everyone loved Les and would like a little piece ofhim. Some ornaments are on sale as low as £7.50 apiece. Les’s daughter Charlotte is 19 now and is destined for a career in showbiz. She was the apple of his eye but sadly he passed away before she reached her first birthday. She said it was a wrench to part with all this superb furniture but is sure it will go to good owners.
Entry to the collection is free of charge.
